Hear ye! The noble game of base ball returns to Tombstone as the ballists of Tombstone and Bisbee take the field for the Helldorado Hardball Classic, to be contested according to the rules and customs of 1860. There shall be no gloves, no modern contrivances, and no soft treatment of the ball, only stout bats, bare hands, and spirited play as our forebears knew it.
The match shall commence Saturday, October 17, at 9 o’clock in the morning upon the grounds of the Old High School at Fremont & 7th in Tombstone, with play continuing until 11 o’clock. All cranks, rooters, ladies, gentlemen, and curious persons are heartily invited to witness the proceedings, and no admission shall be charged.
Bring your family, bring a chair, and come cheer the clubs on to victory.
