Mesas Miners

Founded in 2017, the Mesa Miners joined the Arizona Vintage Base Ball League as proud standard-bearers of Arizona’s mining heritage. Their play reflects the grit and camaraderie of the miners whose name they bear, combining sharp skill with steadfast respect for the early spirit of the game.

Led by Captain Scott “Homewrecker” Shaw, the Miners have claimed multiple league championships and earned a reputation for their disciplined fielding and powerful hitting. Their brand of base ball is marked by integrity and precision, yet never loses sight of the fellowship that binds teammates and rivals alike.
