Tombstone Nine

Originally founded in 1882 on a field just a block away from the OK Corral, the Tombstone Nine were resurrected in 2026 by captain “The Reverend” Bill Jensen. They entered the Arizona Vintage Baseball in a manner suited to their namesake town: with noise, confidence, and no apparent intention of passing quietly. Bearing the name of one of the most storied mining camps in the Territory, the club has quickly made itself known not only for its play upon the field, but for its evident delight in contest, rivalry, and spirited provocation.

True to the character of Tombstone itself, the Nine bring a theatrical edge to the old game. They play with swagger, relish a feud, and are seldom far from a sharp remark or a competitive spark. Yet beneath the frontier bluster is a club plainly committed to the match and eager to test itself against any opposing nine.
